UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE: NASHIA Holds Interactive Session With LGAs & Development Areas Civil Servants
Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency (NASHIA) Dr Gaza Gwamna held an interactive session with civil servants of Local Government and Development areas with a view to Sensitizing them on the need to key into the state health insurance scheme.
The event took place at Lafia, Jenkwe, Doma,Shaibu, and Assakyo on 30 ,31, May 2023.
DR Gaza Gwamna represented by Director planning Research Statistics and ICT Dr Simon Eric Istifanus and other Management team including Director marketing and Business Development Mrs Hadiza Dogora spoke on the importance and benefits package of Health Insurance Scheme and urged them to make themselves available to be enrolled as arrangement has been concluded to commence enrollment at the Local Government .
He said that the team are already out in the field to enroll those Local Government areas that submitted their staff normal roll and cleared by the agency last week.
