PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FROM NASARAWA STATE HEALTH INSURANCE AGENCY

The management of Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency (NASHIA) wishes to inform the general public especially the State Civil Servants about the recommencement of enrollment in to the formal sector programme of the state SocIal Health Insurance Scheme.
2. In view of the importance of having unhindered access to healthcare services, the Agency has put in place measures to facilitate/ smoothing the process of enrollment into the scheme including reduction in waiting time.
3. As you come for the enrollment, kindly come with the following items for the exercise;
(i) Letter of appointment and ID Card
(ii) Birth certificate of the children
(iii) Clear passport photograh of all dependent to be enrolled
(iv) Duly filled enrolments form with the declaration and acknowledgment portion signed by the relevant officer.
(v) National Identity Number (NIN).
4. The agency is encouraging the good people of the state to take advantage of this scheme which is dear to the Executive Governor of the state to eliminate out pocket expenses for healthcare
5. To achieve this, the Agency has made arrangement for the enrollment as follows (see schedule)
