UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE: NASHIA ENGAGES WOMEN AND STAKEHOLDERS ON SENSITIZATION
NASHIA has assured of its commitment to ensuring availability of drugs and quality of health care services while implementing the state health insurance scheme.
Director, Marketing and Business Development of the Agency Mrs. Hadiza Dogara gave the assurance during a sensitisation and awareness meeting with market women association on the segnificance of health insurance in Keana and Obi Local Government Areas of Nasarawa state, Thursday.
While calling on them to subscribe into the scheme, Mrs. Hadiza Dogara explained that the scheme will give them financial protection as well as overcome out of pocket spending while accessing health care.
Similarly, CAN officials in Lafia were also engaged were Mrs. Hadiza and her entourage sensitized them on benefit of health insurance scheme and encouraged them to key into the scheme.
They however appreciated NASHIA for educating them on the nitty gritty about the scheme and assured to mobilize members to embrace the scheme.
