UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE: NASHIA ENGAGES MARKET WOMEN ON SENSITIZATION IN KOKONA AND KEFFI

As part of efforts to carry everyone along in meeting up with the Universal health coverage NASHIA has taken its sensitisation campaign to educate the informal sector of the society.
The sensitisation campaign took the management of NASHIA to strategic areas including Kokona and Keffi LGAs of Nasarawa state.
Leading the campaign, the Agency's Director Marketing and Business Development Mrs Hadiza Dogara accompanied by other Directors of the Agency engaged Market Women Associations, Religion bodies among others where she stressed the importance of health insurance scheme and encouraged them to embrace the scheme.
Mrs. Hadiza said the scheme is meant to give financial protection as well as protect people of the society from out of pocket spending when it comes to accessing health Care, emphasizing that no one should be poor while accessing health care service in Nasarawa State.
